This is a field-based role covering mainly the Midlands area and the north with growing work opportunity in Ireland. For this role, you will be able to work confidently using your own initiative as well as a part of a team, as well as able to work under pressure. You will be prepared to travel and stay away from home quite regularly (for periods of 4 nights or less), and happy with working at heights / in confined spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior engineers to achieve on-site installation, commissioning, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems, working objectively at times.
- Prepare pre-visit documentation and prepare site visit reports for submission to clients.
- You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development.
- You will assist cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.
- To ensure that the Company Health and Safety Policy is adhered to, actively promoting a safe working environment.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems including industrial process experience.
- Advantage in experience with plumbing, pipework or pneumatics.
- Previous combustion experience working with process gas and oil burners is desirable.
- Understanding of P&IDs and electrical schematics.
- Gas Safe certification is desirable but not essential.
