We have an opportunity for a Field Service Engineer - Fire to join us at Honeywell in the North West. In this role you will be responsible for routine maintenance and fault finding on customer sites, identifying and actioning any additional maintenance and small works sales opportunities, and commissioning small projects and new systems with the wider team. This is a field‑based role covering our clients across the North West area to include Greater Manchester, Crewe, the Lake District and occasionally North Wales.

Responsibilities
- Service and commission fire alarm systems in accordance with client specifications whilst ensuring compliance with BS 5839 and other relevant fire safety regulations.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Conduct site surveys and quote for additional works.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs.
- Attend customer sites as part of an on‑call rota, responding to emergency and reactive call‑outs as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer in a servicing and commissioning role.
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems including addressable, conventional, gas suppression and aspirating systems, in particular Gent, Kentec, Advanced, Morley, etc.
- Ability to identify and satisfy customer needs and commercial opportunities.
- Good communication skills coupled with customer service skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
