Job Description
As a BMS HMI Systems Integration Engineer, in Cambridge, you will be responsible for the integration of various systems into our Building Management Systems (BMS) Headend, driving innovation, safety, and efficiency across multiple industries and acting as technical support for the client. In this role, you will impact the design and implementation of integrated systems that enhance operational efficiency and improve user experience in building management. This is a fixed site role, based out our client site 5 days a week.\\n\\nHoneywell Building Automation is transforming the way every building operates to help improve the quality of life for the people who use them.
With a portfolio featuring software, hardware and services, Honeywell takes an outcome-focused approach to help building owners and operators improve safety and security, energy and operational efficiencies to create a better building experience.\\n\\nHelping to Transform Buildings to be Safer and More Operationally and Energy Efficient.\\n\\nKey responsibilities\\n\\n * Integrate Fire Alarm Systems (FAS), Access Control Systems, CCTV, and Intercom into BMS Headend.\\n\\n * Create graphics using HMI Web Display Builder or similar tools.\\n\\n * Map points to graphics within Building Management Systems Headend.\\n\\n * Configuring new CCTV and integrate to DVM (Digital Video Manager) and EBI (Enterprise Buildings Integrator)\\n\\n * Working with the customer to understand their needs and demonstrate system functionality\\n\\nKey skills and qualifications\\n\\n * Knowledge of Building Management Systems and integration protocols.\\n\\n * Knowledge and experience of Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI) or similar BMS head end software, knowledge and experience of CPO, Care, Tridium or Trend software would be advantageous\\n\\n * Knowledge and experience of Open Platform Communications (OPC) for open connectivity in automation along with experience withing networking, configuring IP and Cloud based systems\\n\\n * Experience in Temaline or similar access control systems including configuring card holder database functions, adding new controller, doors etc\\n\\n * Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\\n\\nOur offer\\n\\n * A culture that fosters inclusion, diversity and innovation\\n\\n * Market specific training and on-going personal development\\n\\n * Competitive Salary and benefits\\n\\n * Opportunity to join a fast growing ever changing Global organisation providing world class products and services to our customers\\n\\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
