Description
We have an opportunity for a Fire and Security Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in the Bristol area, where you will be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, security systems, and related equipment to ensure the safety and security of our clients’ premises.
This is a field based role travelling to customers sites across the region.

Responsibilities
- Commission, test, and maintain fire alarm systems, intruder alarms, CCTV systems, access control systems, and other related security equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections and servicing of fire and security systems to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their fire and security needs and provide suitable solutions as well as provide technical support and training to clients as required.
- Participate in on-call duties for emergency response as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous work experience in the fire and security industry, with knowledge of fire systems from various manufacturers, Access Control, Intruder Systems, and IP CCTV
- Fault finding and troubleshooting skills along with programming skills
- A good understanding of software strategies and system integration knowledge, ideally with familiarity in Honeywell’s Building Integrator Front End – Honeywell EBI
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with customers through the use of good communication skills.
