As a BMS Engineer at Honeywell, in Bristol and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for carrying out installations, quoted works, project support, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive calls, and out of hours support to customers on their BMS. This is a field-based role with travel expected to customer sites in and around the South West and further afield as required.

Key responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain and interrogate Honeywell BMS Controllers & Field Control Systems
  • Carry out commissioning of small automation and controls projects
  • Modify and interrogate BMS software programs, strategies, and systems
  • Continually ensure all energy saving measures for all building services are monitored and modified accordingly
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with our client base at varying sites

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with BMS systems and controls with knowledge of operating and maintaining HVAC systems
  • Experience in protocols such as BACnet, M-Bus and Modbus
  • A good awareness of health and safety and related risk assessments
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fault find quickly to resolve reactive works quickly and effectively
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal to be able to compile and complete reports and build strong customer relationships.
