As a BMS Engineer at Honeywell, in Bristol and surrounding areas, you will be responsible for carrying out installations, quoted works, project support, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), re-active calls, out of hours support to customers on their BMS. This is a field based role with travel expected to customer sites in and around the South West and further afield as required.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate, Maintain and Interrogate Honeywell BMS Controllers & Field Control Systems
  • Carry out commissioning of small automation and controls projects
  • Modify and Interrogate BMS Software programs, strategies, and systems
  • Continually ensure all Energy Saving measures for all Building Services are monitored and modified accordingly
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with our client base at varying sites

Key skills and qualifications

  • Previous experience working with BMS systems and controls with knowledge of operating and maintaining HVAC systems
  • Experience in protocols such as BACnet, M-Bus and Modbus
  • A good awareness of Health and Safety and related risk assessments
  • Ability to trouble shoot and fault find quickly to resolve reactive works quickly and effectively
  • Great communications skills both written and verbal to be able to compile and complete reports and build strong customer relationships.
