We are currently looking for an Assembler for our site, this will be shift work. Our Safety and productivity solutions help create faster, more seamless, agile, and efficient supply chains, better protect human health, improve worker safety, and help meet sustainability goals by leveraging connectivity, advanced data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, advanced materials and integrated human and automated systems.
In this role, you will impact the overall production process by ensuring that products are assembled correctly and efficiently, contributing to the high standards of quality and reliability that Honeywell is known for. Helping organizations become more connected to make our world smarter, safer, and more sustainable.
As an Assembler Non-Technical-Lvl 3 here at Honeywell, you will assemble and inspect products to meet quality standards, work with a team to meet production goals, and maintain a safe, clean work environment. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you will work out of our Motherwell location on an On-site work schedule.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications needed:
- Prior experience in a related industry or job position preferred but not essential.
- Prior soldering experience preferred but not essential.
- Basic working knowledge on how to use hand-held equipment correctly.
- Ability to work within a team and alone at times and be able to collaborate with people from other departments.
Responsibilities include:
- Assembling pieces, parts and products to finished goods level by using a variety of specialized equipment and tools.
- Competent in reading and interpreting Job Instruction Sheets to complete tasks to the quantity and quality standard.
- Identifying parts and pieces with defects.
- Following safety and quality standards.
- Following company procedures and directives.
- Testing finished products.
- Keeping a clean and well-maintained workspace.
