Job Summary
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Apprentice at Honeywell, in Southend, you will gain hands‑on experience in our Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) manufacturing site, focusing on Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME). This apprenticeship is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will report directly to our site manager and will work out of our Southend location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall success of our operations and the quality of our products.
This role is part of our Early Careers Relations program, designed to help students and recent graduates launch their careers with hands‑on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within Honeywell. This apprenticeship is set up for four years, starting from August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of advanced manufacturing techniques and processes in order to manufacture electrical products
- Support the development and optimisation of production workflows
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues
- Perform quality inspections
- Participate in training programs to develop skills in manufacturing operations and supply chain management
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains
Key Skills And Qualifications
- A minimum of GCSE a C / level 4 grade in maths and English
- Can commute with ease to the Southend office
- Business level English written and spoken language skills, with the confidence to present face to face to Senior Management
- Full and permanent right to work in the UK
