Job Description

BMS Controls Project Engineer at Honeywell.

Managing and executing Building Management System (BMS) projects, you will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and design customized BMS solutions that optimize building performance and energy efficiency.

You will report to the Project Manager and work out of the Gatwick Airport location on a full‑time onsite schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and design customized BMS solutions.
  • Develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers during and after project implementation.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and advancements in BMS technology to continuously improve project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in controls engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and HVAC controls.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
  • Professional certifications in controls engineering and experience with Honeywell BMS products and solutions are preferred.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to building automation.
  • Full UK Compliance is required for this role.
