We have an opportunity for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Redditch, where you will be a key member of the Quality team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our suppliers' products and processes. You will play a critical role in driving continuous improvement and ensuring that our suppliers meet Honeywell's quality standards and strategy.
This role will be 100% onsite at our Redditch location, with 15-20% UK based travel.
Key Responsibilities- Lead initiatives for supplier quality improvement to ensure alignment with Honeywell's quality standards and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct audits to evaluate supplier capabilities and identify areas needing enhancement, while assessing compliance with Honeywell's requirements.
- Implement root cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve quality issues and prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor and analyse supplier quality metrics to uncover trends and opportunities for performance enhancement.
- Provide technical support to suppliers and foster strong relationships through collaboration, while also coaching and mentoring team inspectors.
- Bachelor's degree or time served apprenticeship in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong background in a manufacturing or supplier quality role.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
