We have an opportunity for a Gas Field Service Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in the Dublin area, where you will be responsible for working on the maintenance of predominantly Bio-Gas Grid Entry Units at our client sites, servicing and planned preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting/investigating customer issues.

Key requirements:

  • Manage the annual servicing of the facility including condition-based servicing & Planned Preventative Maintenance and submit full reports of the job.
  • Testing the Grid Entry Unit, ensuring they are safe and working well before signing off, provide hands-on training and knowledge to new users/operators.
  • Investigate issues to find any faults and system analysis – carry out any replacements as needed.
  • Engage with clients to understand issues, make observations and suggest possible improvements and make recommendations.
  • Meet customers’ needs via remote support as part of an on-call rota.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience within industrial servicing or controls systems.
  • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills and technical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written.
  • Gas industry experience or HND/HNC level qualifications; experience in the Biogas/Biomethane industries would be advantageous.
  • Good team player with a willingness to learn.
