S4 Sr. Material Management Analyst EU COE

You will report directly to our Director Planning COE and you’ll work out of our Bracknell UK location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Working in the Process Technologies Center of Excellence materials management team, this role will focus on the functional process, and data transition from legacy ERP to S4 HANA. Building and transforming business planning processes, and working directly with the business planning teams, you will translate IT design and terminology into clear relatable business language to drive adoption of standard global process

Responsibilities

• Translating IT S4 terminology into business planning language.

• Co-ordinate with planning and IT Teams to update and keep the S4 implementation plan on track.

• Working with the site planning teams to drive adoption of standard and improved processes across Process Technologies. Including defining process gaps, gap closure and UAT testing.

• Process mapping as-is and to-be planning functions: Master Production Scheduling, capacity planning, scheduling, inventory management, plan attainment.

• Defining clear planning processes between Kinaxis, S4 PPDS and MRP systems.

• Drive improvements in planning metrics including MPS attainment, OTFP, OTTR and Past Due.

• Focus on master data cleanliness and standardization including work centers, resources, recipes, routings, material masters and routings.

• Coordinate with the analytics team on reporting development

YOU MUST HAVE

• 5+ years of experience in materials planning within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of material planning processes and their dependency on system data and functionality.

• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly MRP/SAP systems, to manage material requirements including inventory, MPS creation, and capacity planning effectively.

• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize material flow.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong knowledge of materials management, operations, SIOP, inventory management, procurement logistics, and manufacturing.

• Experience in planning transformation and a clear understanding of business benefits.

WE VALUE

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Experience with advanced planning system (Kinaxis), Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

• Experience in leading projects and driving change within the materials management function.
