Overview

As a Technical Trainer – BMS, here at Honeywell, you will provide support to our engineers in relation to Building Management Systems, ensuring full understanding of technical systems and operations relating to the business.

  • Report directly to the Business Support Leader and be based in the Leicester office on a Hybrid work schedule, travelling to different locations across the UK.
  • In this role, you will impact the efficiency of our operations by ensuring engineers have the knowledge to fulfil tasks which will contribute to the successful execution of projects and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide expert technical support for Building Management Systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BMS installations and configurations
  • Provide classroom training to engineers, ensuring their knowledge is in line with industry standards
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in terms of Building Management Systems and liaise with other key stakeholders within the business
  • Build, own and maintain a directory of technical documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting manuals and collaborate with the HBOC team to ensure a full 360 alignment
  • Work in conjunction with the BMS Apprentice Manager to solidify the success of future colleagues and ensure Apprenticeship graduates are supported from a technical perspective

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a BMS Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of Building Management Systems and associated technologies
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Great communicator, with an ability to provide a positive and engaging learning environment and ideally with classroom training experience
  • Experience of Honeywell BMS (EBI, Excel Range, CPO Range)
