This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to use advanced mechanical design expertise on complex components for aerospace gas turbine engines and power generation systems. In addition to legacy aerospace platforms, the role also supports the next generation of military and commercial platforms.
The primary functions are to:
- Drive gearbox design
- Create 3D CAD models
- Create 2D drawings
- Create and track drawing changes in Teamcenter
- Prepare and deliver design reviews
- Document work for internal records and for regulatory needs
- Support the organization in reducing cycle time and improving quality of deliverables
