About the Redditch Site
Honeywell's Redditch site is a recognized center of excellence for cryogenic and stored-energy technologies, serving global aerospace and defense customers.
The site has a long heritage in advanced aerospace manufacturing and engineering, with operations dating back to 1937 and Honeywell ownership since 2004.
The site develops and manufactures highly engineered products including Joule-Thomson mini-coolers, Stirling cycle cryocoolers, stored-energy gas systems, and repair and overhaul solutions for demanding aerospace and defense applications.
Redditch combines engineering development, manufacturing, customer support, and operational execution in a highly regulated environment.

Honeywell Aerospace Technologies is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the Redditch site.
This highly visible role has full ownership for site performance across business, operational, engineering, customer, and functional activities.
The General Manager will be accountable for sustainable business growth and excellence across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost Efficiency, and People.
The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership across a multi-functional organization including Integrated Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Business Development, Finance, Human Resources, and customer-facing functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Ownership
- Own the overall Redditch site strategy, business performance, operating plan, growth agenda, and profitability.
- Lead the site as a full business, connecting customer needs, engineering capability, operational execution, and financial performance.
- Drive commercial growth, strengthen customer relationships, and represent Redditch with customers, partners, government stakeholders, and Honeywell leadership.
- Make effective strategic and operational decisions that improve competitiveness, resilience, and long-term value creation.
- Safety
- Build and sustain a safety-first culture where employee wellbeing and risk awareness are embedded in daily leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, site security, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive proactive risk reduction, continuous improvement, and visible leadership engagement across the site.
- Quality
- Champion a culture of quality, compliance, and customer confidence aligned to aerospace and defense expectations.
- Ensure strong quality management systems, robust corrective actions, and disciplined execution across product and process quality.
- Drive root-cause problem solving and continuous improvement to prevent recurrence and improve customer outcomes.
- Delivery
- Lead the site to meet customer commitments through strong integrated planning, manufacturing execution, and cross-functional alignment.
- Improve on-time delivery, responsiveness, and operational flow across value streams and support functions.
- Partner with supply chain, engineering, quality, and customer teams to remove barriers and improve execution.
- Cost Efficiency
- Deliver financial commitments through disciplined cost management, productivity, resource allocation, and working capital performance.
- Identify and execute improvement opportunities that strengthen productivity, asset utilization, and business competitiveness.

Qualifications and Experience
- Required
- Significant leadership experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
- Proven experience in general management, business leadership, site leadership, or senior functional leadership.
- Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional teams in a manufacturing, engineering, or advanced technology environment.
- Strong understanding of operational excellence, integrated supply chain, engineering, quality systems, customer delivery, and financial management.
- Experience managing customer relationships, influencing senior stakeholders, and delivering business growth.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate strategically while maintaining strong operational discipline and performance accountability.
- Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA or master's degree.
- Experience leading in a regulated aerospace, defense, space, or advanced technology manufacturing environment.
- Experience with government, military, or defense programs.
