As an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer at Honeywell, in Bournemouth, you will be responsible for creating product design changes and providing product design expertise to sustain and grow our Aerospace business. This role includes daily collaboration with staff distributed globally at different product design centres and factories.
Honeywell Aerospace products and services are used on virtually every commercial, defence, and space aircraft. We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, and mechanical components. Our hardware and software solutions help create more fuel-efficient aircraft, more direct and on-time flights, and safer skies.
Key responsibilities:- Drive product design changes, modifications, upgrades, customer investigations, supplier investigations, obsolescence, and test system design changes.
- Support product transitions and new repair integration to site and provide engineering request evaluations for non-conforming parts.
- Engage in Value creation projects to reduce manufacturing turnaround time and repair costs.
