As a Fitter Tester at Honeywell, in Yeovil, you will be responsible for the assembly & test of a range of environmental control system assemblies used in a variety of Aerospace applications. This role will focus primarily on fitting.
Honeywell Aerospace products and services are used on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft. We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. Our hardware and software solutions help create more fuel-efficient aircraft, more direct and on-time flights and safer skies.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing product to engineering drawings and instructions
- Mechanical fitting of Environmental Control Systems
- OCQ - Operator Control of Quality
- To achieve on time delivery by ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard
- Interpreting engineering drawings, following the process layout and documentation procedures
Key Skills And Qualifications
- Full and permanent right to work in the UK without the need of sponsorship
- Residing within an easy commute to our Yeovil site
- Knowledge of mechanical fitting applications
- Working experience within Aerospace highly preferred
- Practice and understanding of the safety-critical work undertaken (Manufacturing experience also considered)
- PC literate with the ability to read and follow instructions
