As a CNC Turner at Honeywell, in Yeovil, you will be responsible for CNC programming, machining and deburring drawing requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • CNC programming, machining & deburring to drawing requirements (programming, setting & running of MDI controlled 2 / 3 Axis Lathes)
  • OCQ – Operator Control of Quality (i.e. Stamping to confirm quality of assemblies are to Honeywell and Customer standards)
  • Achieve on time delivery by ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard
  • Interpreting engineering drawings, following the process layout and documentation procedures
  • Working effectively in a lean environment

Experience / Education Required:

  • Engineering Apprenticeship (Desirable but not Essential)
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Assembly/Fitting/Testing/Machining
  • High standard of Health & Safety
  • Adhering to Company Processes & Procedures
