We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter / Product Support to join our team at Honeywell, in Redditch, where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. This includes performing routine preventative checks and general facility upkeep. The role involves installing new machinery and associated components such as pipework, pumps, and valves. The position requires strong fault‑finding skills to diagnose breakdowns quickly and effectively. Occasional UK travel may be required to support customer equipment, and you will oversee on‑site contractors to ensure safe and efficient completion of work. This is a full‑time, permanent role, based onsite at Redditch.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing preventative maintenance checks and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Other facility caretaking activities will also be required.
- Installing new machinery, pipework, pumps, and valves.
- Fault finding and diagnosing breakdowns.
- Overseeing on‑site contractors.
Key Skills And Qualifications
- Level 2 in mechanical engineering or 3 years’ previous experience in manufacturing maintenance, ideally in the Engineering sector.
- Proficiency with tools and safety regulations (Health, Safety & Environment).
- High attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work under pressure.
- LOTO (Lock out Tag Out) experience will be beneficial.
- Full UK Driving License.
- Microsoft office use.
