We have an opportunity for a Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Honeywell, in Edinburgh, where you will conduct in-depth inspections, analyse data, and collaborate with teams to drive continuous quality improvements and ensure compliance. Honeywell Aerospace products and services are used on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft. We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. Our hardware and software solutions help create more fuel-efficient aircraft, more direct and on-time flights and safer skies.

This is a full time, permanent role, with the following shift pattern: Mondays - Thursdays 8:25am - 5:05pm and Fridays 8:25am - 1:20pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspection of incoming and outgoing material
  • Inspection using traditional inspection techniques for mechanical parts
  • Inspection of WIP for issues identified
  • Support Production and Engineering on Quality performance investigations

Key Skills And Qualifications

  • Confident using windows-based PC programs
  • Proven record of inspection equipment
  • Previous skills working within an Inspection environment
  • Proven competence in a similar role
  • Demonstrate excellent dexterity and hand-eye co-ordination
