The Integrated Excellence Solution Lead will be accountable for the delivery of the efficiency and effectiveness of the PTC Sustainability Delivery Programme (SDP). The role will focus on continuous improvements of all aspects of the SDP programme through structured problem solving, functional transformation, and disciplined execution. Deploying the tailored Honeywell Operating System (HOS), they will lead the Honeywell team embedded into the SDP programme, managing deployment of full-time and reach-back assets. Providing the interface to PTC for client activities. Advising the client on Nuclear Risk Management and leading SDP operational excellence, transition hypercare, stakeholder & SDP interface management and benchmarking & analysis.

The position will work on-site at the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE)- Aldermaston, Berkshire. This position reports to the Director of Performance Partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interfacing of client with client and delivery partners.
  • Accountable for the SDP interfacing with the client and delivery partners to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the sustainment programme.
  • Leading the teams to implement the Operational Excellence (OpEx) system aligned to Honeywell and industry’s best practices in SDP.
  • Lead/manage the Honeywell deployed team, providing coaching and mentoring to the team.
  • Manage team development and growth.
  • Identify and share with the HFS Management team additional opportunities for Honeywell support, within SDP and wider AWE.
  • Develop and deliver strategy for transitioning SDP projects into the PTC capability.
  • Identify and deliver best practice methodology for transitioning projects from SDP partners into PTC operations and maintenance.
  • Lead process improvements within the SDP lots to identify and improve delivery.
  • Benchmark SDP with internal and external project delivery, analysing where the project delivery can be improved to meet best practice and implement improvements.
  • Manage the deployment of external Subject Matter Experts to provide expert analysis and recommendations to the SDP partners.
  • Coach and mentor PTC & SDP leadership team in accountability boards and KPIs.
  • Lead the deployment of Honeywell Tiered accountability boards within the SDP.
  • Coach and mentor teams in the deployment of the system and LFE.

Operational Excellence System Deployment And Coaching

  • Accountable of the implementation and sustainment of the Operational Excellence (OpEx) system aligned to Honeywell and industry best practices in SDP.
  • Lead the interface of the SDP Lot leaders with the PTC client.
  • Lead the cultural transformation toward disciplined use of visual management, performance dialogue, and leadership engagement.

Continuous Improvement And Functional Transformation

  • Identify, prioritize, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma tools (e.g., Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Rapid Problem Solving).
  • Facilitate cross-functional best practice sharing and lead functional transformation initiatives across operations, engineering, supply chain, and support teams.
  • Deploy improvements targeting both process efficiency and functional organizational maturity.

Change Management And Organizational Development

  • Drive organizational readiness and capability for change through structured change management programs and coaching.
  • Build employee engagement and technical capability in Operational Excellence behaviors and methodologies.

Stakeholder And Interface Management

  • Lead the SDP lot partners in integrating the projects, risks and mitigations with the PTC operations and maintenance teams.
  • Drive excellence in stakeholder management across the SDP partners, ensuring a one team approach within PTC.

Key Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Operations Management, or a related field; relevant experience.
  • Certified Lean Expert, Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience leading operational excellence, Lean transformation, or functional transformation initiatives in manufacturing, nuclear, defense, or complex technical environments.
  • Strong coaching, influencing, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Power BI, ERP systems, and operational data visualization platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on execution and measurable business impact.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
