We have an opportunity for an Assembler-Level 1 to join our team at Honeywell, in Edinburgh, where you will operate and maintain equipment, ensure high-quality production, and adhere to safety standards. Your role is key to efficient processes and minimising downtime. This is a full-time, permanent role, with the following shift pattern: Mondays – Thursdays 8:25am – 5:05pm and Fridays 8:25am – 1:20pm.

About Honeywell Aerospace: Honeywell Aerospace products and services are used on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft. We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. Our hardware and software solutions help create more fuel-efficient aircraft, more direct and on-time flights and safer skies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hand Assembly of Microwave Components, using soldering techniques
  • Mechanical Assembly following a prescribed build process
  • Carrying out visual quality checks and packing
  • Labelling of finished parts

Key Skills And Qualifications:

  • Previous experience within an Assembly / Manufacturing environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven competence in a similar role
  • Demonstrate excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Confident using windows-based PC programs
  • Proven record in fine detail assembly
