About This Role

Due to demand in work, we are looking to recruit an additional mobile electrician in the M&E sector of our team. You will be responsible for carrying out various electrical works as part of both planned and reactive maintenance to a satisfactory standard for our commercial clients. You will be working in the areas covering the South West, South Wales, M4 Corridor and the Midlands.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Install and maintain lighting, power systems, and other electrical equipment.
  • Work with site managers, clients, and other contractors to coordinate activities and minimise disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as company policies.
  • Complete and submit accurate job reports, risk assessments, and certifications.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining positive relationships with clients.
  • Have the ability to be placed on an 'on-call' rota (approx. 1 in every 8 weeks).

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Fully qualified Electrician with City & Guilds Installation Part 1 and 2 (or equivalent) and Electrical inspection & testing certificate (essential).
  • ECS/CSCS Card.
  • Basic IT knowledge - able to use smart phones to update jobs and complete test certificates on IPAD.
  • No unspent criminal convictions, must complete DBS and be allowed to work around children/vulnerable adults.
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
