We are on the hunt for a Housekeeper to join our friendly family. Our beautiful rooms offer a safe, clean and slumbersome stay to our guests and we’re looking for someone who will take pride in being a part of that process and service. We need a housekeeper that will help us uphold our reputation for providing a clean and calm environment for our visitors.

What we are looking for:

  • Have a keen eye for detail and be highly organised.
  • Be able to work independently and in a team.
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines keeping our rooms spotless and to our high Honeycomb standards.
  • Control linen and work safely with required chemicals.
  • Engage with our guests and ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay.
  • Be able to get along fantastically with fellow members of our workplace family.

About Us: Honeycomb Houses is a family-run institution born-and-bred from our parent company, Brakspear, which came to life all the way back in 1779. Our philosophy is simple, we treat colleagues like family, guests as friends and pubs like homes. We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our friendly and talented team at The George.

We pay up to £12.71 an hour, plus tronc which is on average an extra £1.50 an hour. Tips are then additional to tronc. The George Townhouse is a stylish boutique inn, bar, and restaurant located in the heart of the charming market town of Shipston-on-Stour, on the edge of the Cotswolds. It offers a blend of contemporary elegance and classic English character. With its fresh food restaurant and 15 boutique bedrooms, it is popular for its high quality menu, coffee, cocktails and daily specials.
