About The Role

At Honeycomb Houses we are looking for bar and waiting team members to join our happy home of friendly faces. We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic and outgoing approach to their work who can greet our guests warmly and help them to feel right at home in our dashing domain. Our ultimate applicant would be friendly, approachable and have a good eye for detail. Experience in the food and drink industry is always a bonus but not a necessity as we provide full training as well as the opportunity to progress.

The Role:

  • Warmly welcoming guests with a smile ensuring every need is anticipated and delivered while making them feel at home.
  • Being a positive and hard-working team member who works well with the wider team across all departments.
  • Confidently making recommendations to our guests while taking orders.
  • Maximising sales through suggestions and up-selling.
  • Preparing and serving drinks to the highest of standards.
  • Dealing with payments.
  • Maintaining standards of cleanliness & hygiene in the bar, restaurant, and garden areas.

About Us

Honeycomb Houses is a family-run institution born-and-bred from our parent company, Brakspear, which came to life all the way back in 1779. Our philosophy is simple, we treat colleagues like family, guests as friends and pubs like homes. We are looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join our friendly and talented team at The Sheep.

We pay up to £12.71 an hour, plus tronc which is on average an extra £1.50 an hour. Tips are then additional to tronc.

The Sheep is a stylish and contemporary inn located in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold, blends rustic charm with modern comfort, housed in a traditional Cotswold stone building that has been thoughtfully refurbished. The Sheep is known for its artisan pizzas, quality pub classics, and seasonal dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. They also offer a good range of craft beers, wines, and cocktails.
