Person Specification:
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant or in a senior support role, reporting directly to senior management in a private or public sector organisation, or professional body, with proven sensitivity, discretion, and confidentiality
- Strong competence in the use and development of audio-visual platforms (e.g. Zoom, Microsoft Teams
- Experience supporting the delivery of presentations and projects, often within challenging timeframes
- Experience of document management, including preparing, collating, and distributing agendas and papers for Committees, Boards, or Senior Management Team meetings in a busy environment
- Experience managing correspondence, handling routine and urgent responses, ensuring follow-up, and maintaining accurate records and files
- Experience maintaining and updating online Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics
- Experience creating and maintaining both hard copy and electronic records, including spreadsheets, and improving existing systems
- High level of competence in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience of audio typing or digital dictation typing
- Knowledge of data protection legislation and its practical application in an office environment
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working at senior level in an administrative or secretarial role, including prioritising workloads within a private or public sector organisation, or professional body
- Experience using additional software packages such as DecisionTime (One Advanced) or OneDrive
- Knowledge and experience of ISO or equivalent quality management standards in a busy office environment
