Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a well-established, values-led charitable organisation to recruit a Fundraising Officer on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and community-focused individual to support the delivery of engaging fundraising activities and campaigns that help generate vital income across Northern Ireland. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing community fundraising initiatives, building relationships with supporters, and helping expand the reach and impact of essential charity services. This role would suit someone who is energetic, resilient, relationship-driven, and passionate about making a meaningful difference within the community sector.
The Role
- Support the delivery of a year-round fundraising and supporter engagement programme
- Primarily focus on community fundraising activity, building relationships with schools, sports clubs, community groups, and local organisations
- Coordinate fundraising activities involving volunteers, third-party supporters, and community networks
- Promote individual giving and legacy fundraising opportunities
- Represent the organisation at fundraising and engagement events as required
- Support internal ambassadors and teams to encourage fundraising activity within local communities
- Identify opportunities to grow fundraising activity, supporter engagement, and community partnerships
- Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor fundraising activity against targets and KPIs
- Work collaboratively with the wider fundraising and communications team to support organisational objectives
- Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR, fundraising regulations, and relevant health & safety procedures
About You
- Previous experience within fundraising, sales, marketing, customer engagement, or community outreach
- Experience working towards targets and supporting organisational objectives
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging new contacts and making outreach calls
- A proactive, resilient, and enthusiastic approach with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Excellent organisational and administrative ability
- Experience using Microsoft Office packages
- A collaborative approach and strong alignment with a values-led, community-focused organisation

Additional Information
- Full current UK driving licence and access to a car required. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals for applicants with a disability who are unable to hold a driving licence
