Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust to recruit a temporary Finance Administrator. This role will be based at Ards Hospital and offers £14.06 per hour.

The Company

This is an exciting opportunity to join the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust and support an important finance project. The role will work closely with the Trust's finance team.

The Role

As a Finance Administrator, you will work alongside the finance team to support the implementation of a new finance system. You will work across the helpdesk function, assisting new users and responding to queries to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing financial systems support and troubleshooting
  • Supporting colleagues and responding to user queries
  • Assisting with the completion of Statutory Accounts
  • Supporting financial governance, controls and audit requirements
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

The Person

The right person for this role will have a strong finance background combined with strong technical ability and experience working with computerised financial systems.

Essential Criteria:

  • An HNC/D in a finance-related subject (or equivalent) plus relevant finance experience; or an NVQ Level 3 with appropriate experience; or two years' recent relevant experience at Band 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience working with computerised financial systems in a busy finance office.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with a range of stakeholders.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, and experience using financial systems.

Package and Benefits

This role offers an immediate start and a rate of £14.06 per hour. The position is temporary until the end of December.
