The Role
- Assisting with the management of a caseload of motor and road traffic accident claims
- Preparing legal documents, court papers, witness statements, and correspondence
- Liaising with clients, insurers, medical experts, barristers, and third parties
- Obtaining and reviewing medical evidence, engineer reports, and other supporting documentation
- Preparing files for hearings, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings
- Monitoring key deadlines and updating the case‑management system with accurate records
- Supporting solicitors throughout the litigation process to ensure matters progress efficiently
- Maintaining confidentiality and delivering a high standard of client care at all times
The Person
- Previous experience working as a Motor Paralegal, within a litigation support role, or as a Claims Handler within an insurance environment is essential
- Experience handling motor, road traffic accident, or personal injury claims is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload and competing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Competent using case‑management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Professional, proactive, and committed to delivering an excellent client experience
