Honeycomb are delighted to be working with Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service to recruit a Business Support Administrator on a full time temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator to play a vital role in supporting the smooth and effective running of a busy operational environment.
The Role
As a Business Support Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative support to the team, helping to ensure that day-to-day business activities are delivered efficiently and professionally. The role will involve working in a busy office environment and will require someone who is confident managing competing priorities, communicating effectively with colleagues and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative and business support to the team.
- Taking accurate and professional minutes at meetings and producing clear, timely records.
- Preparing correspondence, documentation, and reports.
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems.
- Responding to enquiries and communicating professionally with internal and external contacts.
- Organising meetings, appointments, and other administrative activities.
- Supporting the wider team with general office duties as required.
- Managing competing priorities while maintaining excellent attention to detail and confidentiality.
Essential Criteria
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and English, at Grade C or above.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a busy office environment.
- Previous experience of minute taking is essential.
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
