Honeycomb is proud to be working with a leading Bank, based in Northern Ireland, in the search for a Clearing service officer to join their operations Team.
This role is a temporary full time position for 12 weeks.
The Role
- As a clearing service officer , your key responsibilities will include:
- Process high volumes of cheques accurately and efficiently.
- Complete associated administrative and data entry tasks within the cheque clearing process.
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in line with relevant procedures.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues where required.
- Manage a high-volume workload effectively while meeting daily deadlines.
- Maintain a strong level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial information.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider banking operations team.
The Person
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in an administrative, processing or data entry role.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, process-driven environment.
- Strong IT skills, with competence in Microsoft Office.
- A positive, cooperative team member who willingly shares knowledge and supports colleagues.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in banking or financial services.
- Experience within a cheque processing, payments or back-office operations environment.
- Experience handling high volumes of financial transactions.
