Honeycomb is delighted to partner with a high-growth international regulatory technology business to recruit an Investment Compliance & Risk Analyst / Senior Analyst. This is a key role within a growing compliance and risk function, offering exposure to global clients, complex investment structures, and market-leading technology solutions.

The Role

The Investment Compliance & Risk Analyst / Senior Analyst will manage a portfolio of client relationships, ensuring the consistent and accurate delivery of investment compliance and risk monitoring services. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively within a regulated, client-facing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and delivery across a portfolio of investment management clients.
  • Oversee the operation of investment compliance and risk monitoring solutions, including:
  • Regulatory rule monitoring
  • Investment compliance
  • Scheme mandates and portfolio liquidity
  • AIFMD Annex IV reporting
  • Cash flow monitoring
  • Execute daily operational processes to a high standard, including:
    • Data uploads and exception investigation
    • Governance and control checks
    • Analysis of compliance breaches and results
    • Client reporting via daily dashboards
    • Daily data quality checks
  • Code, test, and maintain investment guidelines within compliance systems.
  • Support issue management, investigation, and escalation where required.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimisation and control enhancements.
  • Essential Criteria

    • Proven experience in investment compliance and risk monitoring within asset management, fund administration, or a regulated environment.
    • Strong technical experience coding and testing investment guidelines.
    • Hands-on experience with compliance platforms such as MIG21, Charles River, Linedata, LatentZero, or Aladdin, with strong knowledge of UCITS and/or 1940 Act investment frameworks.
    • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach.
