Honeycomb is delighted to be working with the Business Services Organisation to recruit an Office Administrator for their Community Wheelchair Service team. This role offers an immediate start and is based in Lisburn.
Location: Lisburn
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday-Friday
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Contract: Temporary with the opportunity for extension
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Community Wheelchair Service (CWS) team and play a vital role in supporting patients and healthcare professionals across Northern Ireland. As an Office Administrator, you'll help ensure essential mobility equipment is delivered efficiently.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinating and scheduling wheelchair deliveries and collections
- Communicating with healthcare professionals such as Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists
- Supporting customers via phone and in person with queries and requests
- Using IT systems to manage orders and records
- Preparing and processing delivery/collection documentation
- Monitoring and updating stock records and equipment returns
- Assisting with stock control, catalogues, and supply continuity
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues professionally
Essential Criteria:
- 5 GCSEs (including English & Maths) or equivalent
- At least 12 months' experience in a customer service, purchasing, or logistics environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Criteria:
- Full UK driving licence (or access to suitable transport)
