Honeycomb are pleased to partner with Ards and North Down Borough Council to recruit two Neighbourhood Environment Supervisors on a temporary Full-time basis.

  • Normal Working Hours: Monday to Thursday:00am - 5.00pm Friday: 9.00am - 4.30pm

Ards and North Down Borough Council is seeking an enthusiastic and capable Neighbourhood Environment Supervisor to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident leader who can manage people, oversee enforcement, or case management activity, and work effectively with colleagues, residents, and partner organisations.

The Role

As a Neighbourhood Environment Supervisor, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the delivery of neighbourhood environment services.

You will supervise staff, manage workloads and cases, support enforcement processes, and ensure that a high-quality, customer-focused service is delivered.

You will be a visible and effective team leader, capable of motivating and managing a team of at least ten staff, while ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently within demanding timescales.

You will also have opportunities to engage with the public and stakeholders, including developing and delivering educational programmes and presentations.

Please note that there may be a requirement to work outside of these normal hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on the needs of the service.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 'A' Levels or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' relevant experience supervising enforcement processes or case management within an enforcement environment.
  • Experience of staff supervision, including experience managing and leading teams.
  • Experience of supervising a team of at least ten employees.
  • Experience of developing and delivering educational programmes and/or presentations.
  • Experience of using a range of IT systems and applications.
