Hours: Full-Time Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and highly respected Independent Financial Adviser practice to recruit a Graduate Financial Services Administrator / Trainee Paraplanner. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin a long-term career within financial services. If you've studied Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related degree and are keen to apply your knowledge in a professional environment, this role offers the ideal starting point.

You'll receive structured training, work alongside experienced Financial Advisers and gain exposure to all areas of financial planning. As your knowledge develops, you'll progress into paraplanning, with opportunities to support advisers across pensions, investments, protection and wider financial planning.

The Role

You'll begin by supporting the protection side of the business, developing an understanding of financial products, client processes and regulatory requirements before gradually taking on more technical responsibilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing protection applications from submission through to completion
  • Preparing quotations, illustrations and client documentation
  • Liaising with clients, insurers and product providers
  • Monitoring applications and underwriting requirements
  • Maintaining accurate client records and back-office systems
  • Assisting with suitability reports and trust documentation
  • Supporting Financial Advisers with day-to-day administration
  • Managing client communications, appointments and diaries
  • Providing general administrative support across the business

About You

We're looking for someone who is eager to build a career in financial services and is keen to learn from experienced professionals. Ideally, you'll have:

  • A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related discipline
  • A genuine interest in financial planning and wealth management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • A professional, positive and proactive approach

Previous experience within financial services is not required. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, strong academic foundations and a genuine desire to develop a career within the industry.
