Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Southern Health and Social Care Trust to recruit for a Band 4 Contracts Administrator. This role is based in Lurgan Hospital and is full-time Temporary. It is for 2 months initially and an immediate start.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (37.5 hours)
Contract: Temporary, Full-Time
Salary: Band 4 £14.06 per hour
About the Role
The Contracts Administrator will provide high-quality administrative support to the Contracts Manager and Admin Manager, while taking responsibility for the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of medical and decontamination contracts. You'll also act as Team Leader for Band 3 administrative staff, supporting their development and ensuring a positive, collaborative working environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing detailed contract administration with people management and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract, procurement and asset records
- Liaise with external contractors on service and maintenance contracts
- Manage contract documentation, databases and filing systems
- Coordinate contract meetings, prepare agendas and circulate minutes
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments using finance and estates systems
- Support audits, annual reviews and compliance reporting
- Provide day-to-day supervision of Band 3 administrative staff
- Carry out appraisals and support training and development
- Monitor attendance, leave and training records
- Promote positive staff engagement, well being and performance
- Provide administrative support to senior managers within the service
- Offer cover across Trust-wide contracts administration when required
What We're Looking For
You'll be a confident and organised administrator who can manage competing priorities and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. Essential criteria include:
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases)
- Experience working with computerised systems and information databases
- Proven administrative experience at Band 3 level (or equivalent)
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Previous experience in contracts administration
