Honeycomb are pleased to work with Ards and North Down Borough Council to recruit a Health & Wellbeing Officer on a full-time temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about improving health and wellbeing outcomes, delivering engaging projects, and supporting employees through innovative wellbeing initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and promoting impactful health and wellbeing programmes across the organisation.
While the core hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, flexibility is essential as occasional attendance at events and activities outside standard working hours will be required. Following a successful training period, the role offers the opportunity for hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive business support to the Health & Wellbeing Service Unit.
- Plan, deliver, manage, and monitor evidence-based health and wellbeing projects and programmes.
- Maintain and develop databases and programme records.
- Organise and attend wellbeing events and activities.
- Develop promotional materials and communications across digital and offline platforms.
- Update and maintain the Stay Well website and shared service email accounts.
- Consult with internal and external partners to support successful project delivery.
- Publish surveys and generate reports using platforms such as Citizen Space.
- Assist with budget monitoring and record keeping.
- Deliver and promote training on health and wellbeing topics.
- Provide administrative and secretariat support to meetings and working groups.
Applicants must demonstrate:
QualificationsA Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
ExperienceAt least 1 year's relevant experience including:
- Dealing with members of the public both face-to-face and by telephone.
- Diary management and organising meetings.
- Performing diverse administrative duties.
- Maintaining and developing databases.
A valid driving licence and access to a form of transport that will enable fulfilment of the duties of the post, or access to suitable alternative transport arrangements.
