Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, to recruit a Part-Time Secretary. This position is based in Ards Community Hospital and offers 18.75 hours per week with an immediate start.
The Role
- Providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to Mental Health teams
- Managing appointments, diaries, correspondence, and patient-related administration
- Producing reports, letters, and other documentation using Microsoft Office packages
- Audio typing and minute taking for meetings
- Maintaining accurate electronic and paper records
- Acting as a key point of contact for service users, carers, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Supporting consultants and medical staff with caseload administration and waiting list management
- Contributing to the smooth running of busy mental health services
The Person
- Essential Requirements: 4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language, plus 1 year's secretarial/administrative experience; OR NVQ Level 2 in Administration (or equivalent) plus 1 year's secretarial/administrative experience; OR 2 years' secretarial/administrative experience.
- Plus: RSA/OCR Stage II Text Processing (or equivalent), OR 12 months' word processing experience including report and letter production.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Package & Benefits:
- This role offers an hourly rate of £12.75.
- It is a Band 3 position which is temporary until the end of September.
- Days would be Monday and Friday, with the remaining hours flexible.
