Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to recruit a Part-Time Learning and Development Administrator (15 hours per week). This role offers an immediate start, and will be based in Knockbracken.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, and to contribute to a high-quality Learning and Development service that helps employees develop their skills, maintain mandatory training requirements, and reach their full potential. The NIAS is seeking a highly organised administrator to join their HR Team and play a key role in supporting the professional development of staff across the Trust.
As a Learning & Organisational Development Administrator, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Learning and Development Team, ensuring the smooth delivery of training programmes and development initiatives. You will manage learning records, maintain digital learning systems, coordinate training activities, prepare reports, support meetings and projects, and provide advice and guidance to staff and managers on learning and development processes.
Key responsibilities:- Coordinate and deliver high-quality administrative support to the Learning & Development Team.
- Maintain and update digital Learning Management Systems and training records.
- Produce reports and analyse learning and development activity data.
- Support mandatory training, work experience, assistance to study and performance review processes.
- Provide advice and guidance to staff and managers on Learning and Development procedures.
- Organise training events, meetings and workshops, including minute-taking where required.
- Assist with the promotion and communication of learning opportunities across the Trust.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based filing systems.
- Coordinate training resources, equipment and stationery requirements.
- Support projects, surveys and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Person
Essential Requirements:- 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English Language and Maths (or equivalent), plus 2 years' administrative/customer service experience; OR NVQ Level 2 in Administration/Customer Service, plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent), and 2 years' administrative/customer service experience.
- At least 1 year's experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working within a Human Resources environment.
Package & Benefits:
This role offers an hourly rate of £12.75. It is a Band 3 position which is temporary for 6 months. It is based in Knockbracken. It offers Part-Time hours- 15 hours per week.
