The Opportunity

Working alongside experienced Solicitors, you'll provide high-quality secretarial support across both departments, managing files, preparing legal documentation, coordinating diaries, and ensuring matters progress efficiently from instruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing secretarial support across Conveyancing and Litigation
  • Preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents and correspondence
  • Managing conveyancing files from instruction through to post-completion
  • Assisting with litigation matters and monitoring key court deadlines
  • Audio typing and document production
  • Coordinating diaries, appointments, and meetings
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, courts, Counsel, and third parties
  • Opening, maintaining, and closing files in line with firm procedures
  • Responding to client enquiries via telephone and email
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy legal team

About You

  • Previous experience in Conveyancing and Litigation
  • Experience in Conveyancing and Litigation is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent audio typing and document production abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, proactive, and team-focused approach
