Overview
Honeycomb is delighted to partner with a leading Insurance Brokerage Company to recruit for a Credit Control Executive. You will be providing support to clients and colleagues by providing effective accounting services to the team, handling many aspects of credit control, and supporting the administrative needs of the business.

The Client
Our client is one of the largest independently owned Insurance Brokers in NI, with their head office based in Omagh. They have been trading for 33 years, and through organic growth and acquisitions, have built a network of 15 branches across NI & 2 locations in ROI. They put their customers at the heart of everything they do and have an excellent reputation on the market as a leader in their field.
The Role
The role as a Credit Control Executive will sit within the Accounts team. Typical duties will include:
- Reconciling daily cashbooks
- Collecting payments/ identification from clients
- Allocating payments to correct client accounts
- Identify overdue payments and advise account handlers accordingly
- Ensuring timely payments to insurance in accordance to agreed credit terms
- Providing excellent customer service to clients and colleagues by telephone and email
- Process and manage finance applications
Desirable Criteria
- Minimum of 1 years experience of providing accounting services, preferably in an insurance business
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of transactions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Good numerical skills
- An analytical mind
- Ability to communicate and work in a team
- The ideal person will be enthusiastic, highly motivated with a professional manner
