Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a long-established insurance business to recruit a Personal Lines Insurance Advisor for its Portadown office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, supportive team with an outstanding record of staff retention. The role is fully office-based, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
The Role
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers across a range of personal insurance products.
- Manage a monthly renewals list and provide quotations approximately 14 days before renewal.
- Complete around eight policy renewals per day.
- Handle inbound calls and respond to customer enquiries.
- Assist customers who visit the office.
- Provide travel insurance quotations by telephone, email and letter.
- Process mid-term policy adjustments.
- Gather accurate information for more complex quotations.
- Maintain accurate customer and policy records using Open GI.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the policy lifecycle.
The Person
- Previous personal lines insurance experience would be advantageous, although candidates from banking or wider financial services backgrounds may also be considered.
- Personable, professional and customer-focused.
- A confident communicator with strong listening and questioning skills.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable supporting customers by telephone and face-to-face.
- Able to manage a structured workload accurately and efficiently.
- Interested in joining a service-led business without a heavily sales-driven culture.
- Ideally based in Bangor or within a reasonable commute.
