The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting fee earners with a busy residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion. Key Responsibilities
- Providing full secretarial support within a busy conveyancing department
- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Managing conveyancing files from instruction through to completion
- Liaising professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties
- Audio typing and document production as required
- Managing diaries, appointments, and file administration
- Handling telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Ensuring files and records are maintained accurately and compliantly
- Supporting solicitors with day-to-day administrative duties
About You
- Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within conveyancing
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage a busy workload and work to deadlines
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
