Part-Time Financial Services Administrator Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a well-established, independent financial planning firm in the recruitment of a Part-Time Financial Services Administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, professional and supportive business that provides advice across mortgages, pensions and investments.
The successful candidate will work closely with one of the firm's Partners, providing reliable administrative support and helping to ensure clients receive a high-quality and efficient service.
The position is available on a two-day-per-week basis, with the possibility of increasing to three days depending on the successful candidate and the needs of the business.
The Role The responsibilities of the position will be tailored to the experience and strengths of the successful candidate.
Duties may include: Providing administrative support to the firm's Partners and Financial Advisers.
Processing mortgage applications and assisting with cases through to completion.
Liaising with clients, lenders, providers and other third parties.
Obtaining quotations, valuations, policy information and supporting documentation.
Assisting with pension and investment administration where appropriate.
Processing new business applications and maintaining accurate client records.
Preparing documentation ahead of client meetings and annual reviews.
Monitoring outstanding cases and following up with relevant providers.
Updating the firm's back-office systems and ensuring records remain accurate and compliant.
Supporting the wider team with general office and client administration.
The Person The firm is open-minded regarding the background of the successful candidate.
Previous experience within an IFA, financial planning, pensions, investments or mortgage environment would be highly advantageous.
This role could particularly suit an experienced financial services administrator seeking a reduced working week and a better work-life balance.
