This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team specialising in motor claims litigation. Supporting experienced solicitors, you will assist with the day-to-day management of road traffic accident files, ensuring cases are progressed efficiently from initial instruction through to settlement or court proceedings. The Role:

  • Assisting with the management of a caseload of motor and road traffic accident claims
  • Preparing legal documents, court papers, witness statements, and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical experts, barristers, and third parties
  • Obtaining and reviewing medical evidence, engineer reports, and other supporting documentation
  • Preparing files for hearings, settlement negotiations, and court proceedings
  • Monitoring key deadlines and updating the case management system with accurate records
  • Supporting solicitors throughout the litigation process to ensure matters progress efficiently
  • Maintaining confidentiality and delivering a high standard of client care at all times

The Person:

  • Previous experience working as a Motor Paralegal, within a litigation support role, or as a Claims Handler within an insurance environment is essential
  • Experience handling motor, road traffic accident, or personal injury claims is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload and competing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Professional, proactive, and committed to delivering an excellent client experience
