We are seeking an organised and adaptable Administrator to join a busy legal team. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative assistance to fee earners across various dispute matters. Key duties include:
- Managing and updating case files
- Drafting and formatting legal documentation
- Liaising with clients and internal departments
- Carrying out a wide range of administrative duties
The successful candidate will ensure the smooth progression of cases, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency. Excellent organisational ability, strong communication skills, and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure are essential for this position.

The Role:
- Produce precise, high-quality work while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Operations, Document Services, and Reprographics to complete tasks promptly
- Handle telephone and written communication professionally, ensuring a consistent, high-quality service
- Print, scan, and copy documents as needed, including preparing court bundles, deeds, and working papers
- Maintain accurate filing systems both electronically and in hard copy
- Assist fee earners with administrative support, including expenses, cheque requisitions, and other financial tasks
- Manage incoming emails efficiently, responding and filing appropriately
- Input and maintain accurate time records, and assist with billing processes such as pre-bills, narrative editing, and e-billing
- Update client and case details in internal systems and help produce reports as required
- Support the new business process, including conflict checks, file openings, and engagement letters
- Coordinate meetings and events, including room bookings, catering, and travel logistics
- Maintain client databases and assist with archiving and file retrieval
- Provide general administrative assistance, including managing post, couriers, calls, and document production
- Develop strong professional relationships and deliver excellent client service
- Stay informed about team priorities to ensure effective and proactive support
- Comply with all firm policies, ensuring confidentiality and precision in all work
- Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and development initiatives
- Take ownership of personal growth and share knowledge to support team improvement
- Assist with managing deeds schedules and client data sites, ensuring all records remain up to date
The Person:
- At least 1 year's experience in an administrative or office-based role
- Strong typing ability with excellent accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build positive and professional relationships internally and externally
