Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and established law firm based in South Belfast in the search for a Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their busy and growing property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join a well-respected firm with a strong presence in the Northern Ireland property market. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Solicitor, assisting with a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to post-completion.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary £28,000 -£31,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing, formatting, and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
  • Opening, maintaining, and closing conveyancing files in accordance with firm procedures
  • Audio typing and document production
  • Managing diaries, appointments, and key transaction dates
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and client enquiries in a professional manner
  • Assisting Solicitors with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions
  • Drafting and issuing contracts, completion statements, and Land Registry documentation
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and third-party Solicitors
  • Conducting property searches and assisting with post-completion registrations
  • Ensuring all files are maintained accurately and in compliance with regulatory requirements

About You

  • Previous experience working within Conveyancing is essential
  • Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong audio typing and document production skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach
