Honeycomb is partnering with a well-established banking organisation to recruit a Senior Collections and Recoveries Advisor for their Belfast City Centre office. This temporary position (6-12 months) offers an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team within a respected employer.
The Role
- Working as part of the Collections and Recoveries team, you will be responsible for supporting customers who are experiencing financial challenges.
- The role is predominantly inbound telephone-based, requiring you to manage a high volume of customer conversations with professionalism and understanding.
- Key duties include:
- Speaking with customers to assess their current financial position and identify appropriate solutions
- Handling complex and sensitive discussions in a calm, empathetic manner
- Agreeing on affordable repayment arrangements tailored to individual circumstances
- Providing information on available debt resolution options and support measures
- Referring customers to relevant external agencies where additional advice may be beneficial
- Monitoring customer arrangements and making amendments where required
- Ensuring all interactions are conducted in line with regulatory and company standards
The Person
- Previous experience in a customer-facing, banking, financial services, or collections environment
- An understanding of debt management, recoveries, collections, or asset finance processes
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- The ability to build rapport and manage difficult conversations effectively
- A customer-focused mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving
The Package
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
- Hourly rate of £16.55 per hour
- Hybrid working available upon successful completion of training
- Expected start date: August 2026
