Honeycomb are delighted to be working with the Business Services Organisation to recruit a Band 3 Customer Helpline Administrator. This role is based in Belfast, within the Procurement and Logistics Service team. The role is temporary for a 6-12-month period.
Location: Belfast
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Contract: Temporary, for a 6-12 month duration
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm.
This is a fast-paced, customer-focused role supporting Health & Social Care services across Northern Ireland. You will be helping customers, processing urgent and routine orders, resolving queries, and ensuring essential supplies reach the people who need them. This role combines customer service, administration, IT systems, and problem-solving in a highly rewarding operational environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls and customer queries professionally and efficiently
- Process urgent and routine stock orders using warehouse management systems
- Investigate and resolve after-sales delivery discrepancies
- Monitor and analyse stock exception reports using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Support customers with stock returns and complaints processes
- Work collaboratively with logistics, warehouse, and stock management teams
- Maintain accurate records and support continuous service improvement
Essential criteria:
- 5 GCSE's including Maths and English (Grade A-C) OR A relevant NVQ/GNVQ Level 2 qualification with 1 year's relevant experience OR 2 years' relevant customer service or administrative experience
Desirable criteria:
- Experience using purchasing, finance, or e-commerce systems
