The Role
The Band 4 Medical Lab Quality Support role is a pivotal position within the Microbiology department, providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the lab. While this role does not involve direct laboratory work, it plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards and supporting the team during a maternity absence.
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Microbiology team.

Essential
- University degree or equivalent professional qualification plus two year\’s administrative / clerical experience over the last three years OR 3 years recent (within the last 4 years) administrative / clerical experience with 5 GCSE\’s (A-C) including English Language & Maths.
Desirable
- Experience in a healthcare or quality support role.
